I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the local market and the Old Port area. It made exploring the sights of the city so convenient. Her attention to detail and the flavors were simply amazing. She also took the time to give us great recommendations for places to visit and dine in La Rochelle. The hotel's location is a great advantage as it is situated next to a local market, away from the touristy main areas but within a walkable distance to the port area and local restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated with elegant views of the cobbled streets. The staff is friendly and helpful during the stay and the breakfast served was delicious. The establishment's amenities such as the CD player and home-made jams are a plus point.

There seemed to be some minor issues related to the electrics and maintenance within the hotel, but we believe they might have been sorted out by the responsible parties.

Great service and breakfast! The host was very helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city and near to all the major attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. The bathroom was nice and modern too.

Not the easiest of places to find, and it was quite noisy at night. Also, there were some issues with the electrics which meant we couldn't use certain appliances. Not a deal breaker, but a bit frustrating. it was a nice weekend, but there were a few things that could have been better.

The steep stairs were a bit tricky to navigate, and the noise from other guests could be heard in the morning. the lack of options for payment, and the expectation of cash, created some stress and worry during checkout.
